Cranium Cafe has recreated "knocking on doors" like students do when they are on campus. Knocking on doors and getting help from academic support members is the greatest support a student can receive. It takes a student one-click from a school's website to talk to an advisor, tutor, mentor, or professor. Cranium Cafe is the first virtual student services technology that’s being used by many colleges and universities. Cranium Cafe is FERPA and ADA compliant, and allows all students (regardless of disabilities including visually impairment) to connect instantly with their academic support teams and receive immediate help. This way, "walk-in" appointments aren't limited to on-campus students, but offered to everyone. We developed our technology over the course of 3 years with careful and thoughtful precision. Our efforts resulted in a solution that offers the in-office experience to off-campus students, and lets students immediately jump into a face-to-face meeting without any steps like registration, downloads, or installation. Our goal is to reach a place where students can build relationships with their instructors, tutors, advisors, and classmates. In a sense, it's a return to the time when students lounged around campus between classes, working closely with others and taking advantage of things like office hours. The human connection and interaction that takes place outside the classroom is critical to a rich and successful education, and particularly important in terms of things like enrollment and course completion. Cranium Cafe lets you and your team offer these things to all students. While schools have invested numerous resources into developing online courses, it's been increasingly clear that off-campus students need benefits of student services and genuine support. We've built a great solution and we're proud of the results we've seen at our schools, specifically in areas like enrollment, advising, and tutoring. Cranium Cafe’s vision is to be the virtual meeting tool of choice in the education software market, which is valued at $13.5 billion. This will be done through partnerships and integrating Cranium Cafe into LMSs through Learning Tool Integration (LTI).
