Color Me In! empowers people in Zambia through a micro-loan model that focuses on small business development and environmental sustainability. We challenge individuals to cultivate new skills, generate income, and become leaders in their own efforts to eradicate poverty rather than relying on outside aid. Each loan may be paid back up to 75% by our clients through planting trees, introducing a real-life classroom that reinvigorates indigenous knowledge about forests while taking concrete steps to improve their environment one tree at a time.
