Cold Spring Advisory LLC was filed in Nevada by William Weiss. His brother-in-law Louis Ottimo claims it was his brainchild in 2012, and William later named Michelle Ottimo (Louis's wife) as Managing Member of the LLC, although according to Louis Ottimo, he alone determines which clients to accept, how much retainer to charge, has the Cold Spring advisory phone that rings on his desk, prints checks, and hires attorney, yet claims only to be a consultant. And no wonder, he was sanctioned and disciplined multiple times by FINRA, until being barred for life from interacting with any FINRA member.
