CodePath is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that brings together employers, students, and colleges to eliminate inequities in tech education, diversify the field, and provide underrepresented students with a path toward economic mobility and generational wealth. Close to 80% of underrepresented minorities who start a CS degree will leave CS before graduating. For those that do graduate, most will have skill gaps making them likely to leave software engineering roles or spend their careers underestimated and underemployed.
