At CatholicCare Victoria we're committed to empowering communities and building strength and resilience, to enable everyone to reach their full potential and live life to the full. Human Dignity, Solidarity, Subsidiarity, Equity and Respect are our guiding principles in the way we work to support our communities, and in how we work with one another in our CatholicCare Victoria family and beyond. On 1 January 2021, Centacare Ballarat, CatholicCare Melbourne/Gippsland and CatholicCare Sandhurst merged to form CatholicCare Victoria to enhance and strengthen service provision to the vulnerable and marginalised; to amplify scale and reach to sustain and grow services; and to enable a greater focus on addressing the root causes of poverty and injustice across the state. We are the social service agency of the four Catholic dioceses of Victoria, and our support services are available to all individuals or groups regardless of race, religious beliefs or economic status.
