Dedicated to empowering underserved children and helping transform a new generation of leaders. | Founded in 1997, Casa de Amistad is a non-profit organization that provides education and character development programs for over 260 underserved dual-language children and their families in coastal North County San Diego. Our cornerstone Study Companions Program pairs 300+ trained tutor/mentor volunteers with students in grades K-12 to help with homework, improve reading & math skills and develop general study skills. Additional programs include Pre-K and Summer Enrichment Programs as well as our DREAMS Technology initiative which seeks to close the digital divide for students and parents.
