It was set up by a group of 25 leading charities in 1959 with the specific aim of providing a consistent source of income for charity. We run as a not-for-profit and now partner with over 200 charities throughout the UK. In the last 10 years alone, we've raised over £40 million for good causes, helped by more than 5,000 amazing volunteers.
