Information
The Catholic Development Fund Melbourne (CDF) is a Religious Charitable Development Fund that exists to provide financial services to Catholic organisations in the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and the Catholic Diocese of Sale. The CDF is a fund of the Archbishop and as such comes under the responsibility of the Archbishop of Melbourne. Funds invested with the CDF are used to support the mission of the Church in Australia by providing low cost development funding to all Catholic organisations including Parishes, Parish Primary Schools, Secondary Colleges, Religious Orders, Diocesan Agencies, Hospitals and Aged Care operators. The CDF offers a broad range of transactional services to our Church clients who are able to operate their accounts electronically through CDF Online. Individuals may also support the Fund by opening an Online Savings account or by investing in a Term Investment. The CDF also provides a payroll service to over 300 Catholic schools in Victoria.
