About Brolis Semiconductors

Founded in 2011 by three Vizbaras brothers, Brolis Semiconductors is a high-tech semiconductor photonics company developing cutting-edge beyond-state-of-the-art technology for healthcare, military and consumer markets.

Brolis operates across three european locations with HQ and main R&D and production site in Vilnius, Lithuania, Silicon photonics R&D site in Ghent, Belgium and assembly and sales office in Larne, Northern Ireland, UK.

Our key technology encompasses molecular beam epitaxy of advanced III-V material, chip design, hybrid integration of III-V components with silicon photonics, advanced packaging and micro-optics assembly, electro-optic system design and assembly ( PCB, embedded systems, FPGA, optics, etc) to complete qualification for most advanced applications ( vibrations, climate, atmospheric).

From wafer level to final systems - We develop unique integrated cutting-edge technology solutions, such as:

- Integrated miniature modules for DIRCM at 2.1 micron based on direct diode technology;
- Advanced SWIR and exSWIR systems;
- Advanced cooled and uncooled thermal imaging solutions;
- OEM laser modules for warrior/airborne systems
- Advanced spectroscopic components in the 1500 nm - 3000 nm band
- Hybrid III-V/Silicon photonics sensors;

Company is ISO 9001:2015 certified for R&D and production and is licensed as a military system developer and manufacturer. Currently Brolis systems are being used by the armed forces and law enforcement units within more than 10 NATO countries.
