Description
Information
The Mission of the Big Bend Homeless Coalition (BBHC) is to end homelessness in the Big Bend through leadership, education, advocacy, and the provision of quality services. The Big Bend Homeless Coalition is the area’s largest provider of safe housing for men, women and children who are homeless.Because of the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we are able house more than 250 people every day that would otherwise stay at an emergency shelter, in a car, or on the streets. Different than emergency shelters, we provide our residents a mix of transitional and permanent housing programs designed to meet their basic needs, help them find jobs, and become self-sufficient. Our programs work. Since 2005, we have helped more than 1,300 people transition from homelessness to stable housing.
