Welcome to NAVIKA (ನಾವು ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು )

NAVIKA (North America Vishwa Kannada Association) is a nonprofit grassroots organization created to promote and enrich the very rich cultural heritage of Karnataka. The ancient history of Kannadigas dates back to 3000BC. NAVIKA aims to assimilates Kannadigas from all walks of life under one canopy, creating lasting partnerships in areas of education, culture, business, government and philanthropy. It is estimated that nearly 60 thousand people from Karnataka are living in the US. Regardless of their socioeconomic status, NAVIKA welcomes all these Kannadigas and people of Karnataka origin residing outside of India. This diverse community is eminently successful and is determined to contribute and benefit from Karnataka’s progress and development in addition to the purposes mentioned above.

NAVIKA Boston 2013

NAVIKA Boston 2013 is the grand 2nd World Kannada Summit which is being held in the world renowned DCU Convention and Exhibition Center, on August 30th to September 1st, 2013. The Summit is a canvass for bringing together the highest quality art, literature, education, business, healthcare and technology under one roof. The grand event will showcase varied talents with energetic participation from all spectrums of global community along with local talents in the US. The cultural events will include traditional dance, drama, music, comedy, talent competition, game show, fashion show and beauty pageant.
