Beam Health

Beam Health is a Newcastle based multidisciplinary allied health service, providing Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Behaviour supports to children, young people and their families. Our qualified, experienced and quality-focussed team of practitioners provide a range of services such as therapy, assessment and consultation through Medicare, NDIS, Out-of-Home Care, Employee Assistance, workers compensation and fee-for-service arrangements. We also provide professional development services to care-based organisations and professionals through a range of training packages, secondary consult and clinical supervision. The concept of Beam was unearthed in 2016 to meet the needs of children, young people and families navigating through mental health, emotional and cognitive challenges. As a group of passionate people with vast experience and skills in supporting children, young people and families and getting great outcomes, it was evident that something more was needed. It became disturbingly clear that children, young people and their families did not have easy access to the right therapeutic and clinical supports to enable them to become all that they can be. We became determined to do something about this and meet this need in some way. The solution was Beam – a service built on knowledge and experience, with a relentless pursuit of quality outcomes for the children, young people and families it serves to support.
