When music fans attend concerts where is the first place they want to go after the show? Backstage. With the advent of social media, it is easier than ever before to follow the daily lives of celebrities to get an inside look on how they think, feel, and what motivates them. Now there is a place fans can go to find behind the scenes coverage of the latest projects their idols are working on. Presented in an online format, the crew of BackstageOL.com has teamed up with local Houston FOX Television affiliate KRIV to give fans an insider’s look of the behind the scenes operations of the music, movie, and gaming businesses. The site’s crew is made up of radio veteran Dave Morales (KPWR/Los Angeles, KHKS/Dallas, KHMX/Houston) and executive producer/managing editor Jonathan Stenvall. Officially launching on the Fox 26 Morning News on Monday June 20, 2011, BackstageOL.com taped an EXCLUSIVE interview with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Other recent interviews and features have included segments with Tom Hanks, Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Steven Spielberg, and Simon Cowell. In addition to Fox, we have teamed up with the highly rated top 40 radio station 104 KRBE where BackstageOL co-founder Dave Morales is an on air personality. We host a daily entertainment news feature on top 40 station KLJT as well. A nationally syndicated top 40 radio show is currently in pre-production. In addition to the website, television, and radio partnerships, BackstageOL hosts multiple advance movie screenings across the United States. Studio partners include, but are not limited to Paramount, Warner Bros, Columbia, Walt Disney, Universal, and 20th Century Fox.
