The BTA un InterRisk restructuring plan came into effect in late 2017 and assumed a merger-by-acquisition with BTA as the acquirer and InterRisk as the acquiree. BTA Baltic Insurance Company JSC is starburst of BTA Insurance Company SE - a player in the insurance business for over 20 years, who became the 3rd largest insurer in the Baltics by 2009. In 2014 the parent company was restructured and BTA Baltic Insurance Company JSC was launched to dedicate full focus on the Baltic market.
