The Research Innovation Commercialization (RIC) Centre supports technology entrepreneurs that want to fast-track their business in the areas of advanced manufacturing, cleantech and the Internet of Things. RIC is housed at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada, Canada’s leading materials research centre,and strategically partnered with GreenCentre Canada. Our team of advisors and mentors, educational training, networking events and the RIC Incubator accelerate the commercialization of technology by innovative companies. RIC Centre has helped 320 ventures, of which 220 were surveyed to measure their success and our impact. We have helped these companies grow their sales from $0 to $29M, hire more than 500 employees, raise $29.7M and expand globally. RIC is a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs with a real-world approach towards measuring success by how well we connect our clients to our trusted network of mentors, advisors and industry partners to build and grow their business. Located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario’s most active manufacturing hub, RIC works with an exclusive group of companies to transition them from the idea and concept stage, to the growth and expansion stage of their businesses. RIC is there to ensure that startups have the tools, resources and connections required to be successful.
