Alfirdaus College

AlFirdaus College was established to connect Muslims of all ages and backgrounds with the divine book of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala (SWT). The college exists to give Muslims the opportunity to correctly recite, understand and appreciate the beauty of the glorious Quran. AlFirdaus is an unaffiliated, not-for-profit organisation and re-invests heavily into the quality of the teachers and resources at the college. The college is a WAQF and its long-term objective is tarbiyyah (the education and correct upbringing of the people) through the vehicle of teaching Quran. In effect we aim to produce students who can reflect the wisdom of Allah SWT's scripture in their actions and day-to-day living. We aim to embody the example of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace upon him (PBUH) who said: “The best of you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it." AlFirdaus College's objectives are to: • Teach and educate students the correct manner in which to recite, memorise and understand the Quran • Serve as a role model organisation for Muslims and non-Muslims alike • Influence society towards righteousness and truth. In addition to teaching, AlFirdaus is devoted to spreading the message of Islam through genuine action.We aim to develop an ideal Islamic community steadfast in adhering to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Knowledge of the Quran will invitably foster a passion for Islam and so our students will be in good stead to call people to Islam by example and guidance. We carry out these activities with the help and permission of Allah SWT, insha'Allah.
