ADAELTA The majority of the world’s population lives in deltas and along coasts and rivers. Climate change, sea level rise, economic development and population growth will increasingly put pressure on the systems we have developed to live, work and recreate. Loss of biodiversity and over-exploitation of natural resources increase the challenges. There is uncertainty about the speed of change and about potential strategies and solutions. Adaelta is a company focusing on adaptation in and along deltas, coasts and rivers. The systems Adaelta is working with are the natural environment, water, cities, urban and rural areas and infrastructure. We contribute to strategizing, problem analysis and solving, project and program preparation and realization, development of innovations and innovation programmes. It is Adaelta’s ambition to share it's learning experiences through the organization of events, presenting at events, publishing articles and blogs.
