ALUS

As a community-developed, farmer-delivered program, ALUS Canada enables all Canadians to rebuild nature, one acre at a time. With the generous support of The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, the ALUS program is now established in six provinces, with rapid expansion happening across the country. At the end of 2015, we had enrolled nearly 18,200 Acres in the ALUS program, producing ecosystem services, such as clean air, clean water, drought and flood mitigation, biodiversity and native bee and pollinator habitat, for the benefit of all Canadians. ALUS is a trusted community marketplace, the only organization putting rural communities at the center of conservation efforts. By supporting ALUS farmers and ranchers in their enhanced stewardship of the land, ALUS enables all Canadians to participate in directly improving the environment. Find out more at alus.ca
