AIC are part of an international AIC Steel Group and have recently set up operations in the UK. AIC steel production facility and office are located at Newport, South Wales. This is 35,000m2 with a covered workshop area of 12,500m2. We have excellent facilities including fully operational saw and drill lines with shot blast facilities, plate profiling capability and ample space to fabricate complex structural assemblies and plate girders. The facility also boasts in-house paint workshop. Our staff have many years’ experience in the structural steel industry and have been involved in many major projects. AIC Steel have also successfully become accredited through SCCS to British Standard ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, NHSS 19a and 20 and CE Marking BS EN 1090 allowing us to fabricate up to and including Execution Class 4 work. Accreditation to Achilles RISQS. AIC undertake structural steel schemes up to 750t with particular emphasis on plunge columns, heavy plate fabrication, bridges, trusses and transfer structures.
