Colbey Voss

Colbey Voss currently serves as a key member of the Cyber Security Operations team within the United States Air Force Reserve, where he leverages his extensive expertise to safeguard critical military networks and infrastructure. In this role, Colbey is responsible for operating and deploying a sophisticated $6 million Cyber Security weapon system, which plays a vital role in deciphering and analyzing all network traffic across various military compounds. His work ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive information, supporting the Air Force's mission readiness and operational security.

A notable project under his leadership involved conducting an OCONUS site survey at one of the busiest airfields in Combat Air Forces. This comprehensive assessment included gathering technical configurations, performing initial risk assessments, and generating functional mission reports that informed strategic cybersecurity measures. Colbey’s hands-on approach and technical acumen have been instrumental in optimizing system deployment and enhancing threat detection capabilities in complex operational environments.

With an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and a Security+ Certification, Colbey demonstrates a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, policy analysis, and risk management.
