At Power Construction, who we build is just as important as what we build. Founded in 1926, we are a family and senior management-owned firm based in Chicago with national reach and a long history of managing complex projects across diverse market sectors. Our portfolio spans more than a dozen project types, ranging from under $1 million to over $500 million. At the heart of our success is a commitment to relationships—with employees, architects, subcontractors, and clients. We believe what we build best isn’t just projects, but trust. Our values-driven model keeps leaders engaged, careers growing, and partnerships strong—all driving exceptional value for our clients. That spirit of growth is rooted in our entrepreneurial culture. We’ve never stopped looking for smart ways to evolve—it’s built into our DNA and the driving force behind our longevity. It also fuels our unwavering commitment to safety, reflected in an EMR consistently better than the industry average. We don’t just build buildings. We build careers, partnerships, and spaces that shape the future. And above all, we deliver on our promise: to exceed expectations, every time.
