Caryn Saslow currently serves as the Information Management Officer at the Joint IDP Profiling Service (JIPS), where she plays a pivotal role in advancing data-driven approaches to displacement management. In this capacity, she leverages her extensive expertise in geomatics, spatial analysis, and information management to enhance the accuracy and accessibility of displacement profiling data across diverse contexts in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Caryn's work involves mapping complex displacement scenarios through interactive web maps, which serve as vital tools for humanitarian actors, policymakers, and development agencies seeking to understand and respond to displacement crises more effectively.
