Beth Jucovy

Beth Jucovy currently serves as the Director and lead educator at Children Dancing, where she brings her extensive expertise in dance education, choreography, and dance history to a new generation of young dancers. Building on her foundational work with Dance Visions NY, which she founded in 1990 to preserve and promote the aesthetic of Isadora Duncan, Beth has dedicated her career to blending classical technique with innovative, contemporary approaches. At Children Dancing, she designs and implements comprehensive curricula that encompass classical ballet, creative dance, jazz/theater dance, and Isadora Duncan technique, fostering a holistic approach to dance education that emphasizes both technical mastery and expressive artistry.

Beth’s key projects include developing site-specific performances that integrate dance with environmental and community themes, encouraging students to explore improvisation and body conditioning for well-being. Her expertise in improvisation and repertory allows her to cultivate creativity and spontaneity in her students, nurturing their unique artistic voices. Beth’s focus on dance for all ages—from young children to adults—ensures that her classes are accessible, engaging, and rooted in a deep understanding of movement principles, social-emotional development, and performance skills.
