Bertine Bos

Bertine Bos currently serves as the Deputy Head of Unit for EU/G20 coordination at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the Netherlands’ strategic engagement within multilateral forums. In her capacity as NL G20 sous-sherpa, Bertine is responsible for coordinating the Dutch approach to G20 negotiations, ensuring alignment across diverse policy areas such as economic stability, sustainable development, and international trade. Her expertise in G20 diplomacy involves managing complex stakeholder relationships, facilitating high-level dialogues, and contributing to the development of policy positions that advance the Netherlands’ national interests on the global stage.

In addition to her G20 responsibilities, Bertine oversees the coordination of the EU Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper) Part I and Part II, as well as the EU’s integrated political crisis response mechanism (IPCR).
