Barbara Cozzoni

Barbara Cozzoni currently serves as an ISS Operator and Operations Engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where she plays a pivotal role in the management and execution of complex space missions aboard the International Space Station. Her expertise encompasses ground segment operations, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between the ISS and mission control, as well as the operational procedures necessary for the successful deployment and maintenance of onboard payloads. In her role, Barbara is responsible for overseeing the operation of critical experiments and hardware, including the European Drawer Rack (EDR) and ElectroMagnetic Levitator (EML) payloads within the Columbus Module, for which she holds specialized certification.
