Program Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions at Toll Group | Altona North, Victoria, Australia

About Art Tsonis

Art Tsonis is a highly experienced Senior Business and Technology Manager currently serving as Program Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions at Toll Group. In this strategic role, Art oversees complex integration and divestment initiatives, leveraging his extensive expertise in enterprise software, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team leadership. His primary focus is ensuring seamless business transformations through meticulous program management, risk mitigation, and benefits realization.

One of Art’s key projects involved managing the divestment of a significant portion of Toll’s operations, which was subsequently sold to Alegra and rebranded as Team Global Express. This high-stakes program required orchestrating a highly technical team of resources to execute a complex breakup of 45% of Toll’s business without disrupting ongoing operations. His ability to coordinate vendor management, negotiate vendor contracts, and align diverse stakeholder interests was critical to delivering this outcome successfully.

Art’s expertise in developing comprehensive business cases, managing enterprise-wide programs, and coaching teams through change has been instrumental in driving strategic growth and operational efficiency for Toll. His deep understanding of benefits negotiation and realization ensures that each project not only meets its technical objectives but also delivers tangible value to the organization. With a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide solutions across various sectors—including telecommunications, utilities, government, logistics, and manufacturing—Art continues to demonstrate his capacity to lead complex M&A initiatives that require a blend of technical acumen, strategic insight, and effective leadership.
