It was in October of 1984 when arabella hutter von arx first met her future husband, joe. They were both students at University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Joe had just graduated and was looking for a new challenge. The two hit it off and started dating soon after.It was during their time at Lausanne that arabella met her future boss, paulina. Paulina was a molecular biologist and arabella was desperate to learn more about the scientific process. They started talking about arabella's future and Paulina gave her some great advice. She advised arabella to study at University of Lausanne since it was a great place to get her degree in molecular biology.Although at first it was a bit confusing, arabella started to learn about the scientific process and soon was able to criticize experiments herself. She was also very passionate about her studies and loved the challenges that came with the Molecular Biology degree.After finishing her studies at Lausanne, arabella moved to the United States to work as a science journalist at The Wall Street Journal. She had a great time working at the Journal and loved the challenges of covering science and technology.Although she was briefly based in London, arabella always wanted to visit Switzerland. She met joe while she was live blogging from Switzerland and they fell in love. They decided to move back to Switzerland and get married.In Switzerland, arabella continued to work as a science journalist and finally started her own blog in 2009. Her blog, arabella.ch, is still popular today and she has always been passionate about writing about science and technology.Despite her many challenges, arabella hutter von arx is an accomplished scientist and is highly content with her life and career.
