Anika Ware

Anika Ware is currently excelling as a Structural Engineering Intern at McCormick Taylor, Inc., where she actively contributes to a diverse range of infrastructure projects. In her role, Anika is involved in the design and analysis of bridges, sound barrier walls, culverts, and retaining walls, applying her strong foundation in civil engineering principles. Her responsibilities include developing detailed design concepts, utilizing MicroStation and other CAD software to produce accurate and efficient structural drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Anika collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with geotechnical, transportation, and environmental specialists to develop comprehensive design deliverables that meet project specifications and client expectations.

A key aspect of her work involves reviewing construction documents such as shop drawings and RFIs, which enhances her understanding of construction practices and helps ensure the integrity and safety of the structures she helps design. Her proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word supports her in data analysis, project documentation, and reporting, streamlining project workflows. Anika’s expertise in bridge rehabilitation techniques and materials selection underscores her commitment to sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Villanova University, Anika is continuously expanding her technical knowledge and leadership skills within the civil engineering industry. Her hands-on experience at McCormick Taylor, combined with her academic background from Temple University, positions her as a promising professional in structural design and infrastructure development.
