About Aidan Herlong

Aidan Herlong is a dedicated Web Developer at Quanta Services, Inc., where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing user experience across the company's digital platforms. With a strong focus on user interface design, Aidan is currently assisting the Director of IT Applications in a significant project to migrate 112 websites under the Quanta brand. This extensive migration not only requires technical expertise in HTML5 and WordPress but also a keen understanding of user motivations and expectations, which Aidan adeptly brings to the table.

In addition to the migration efforts, Aidan is actively involved in quality assurance processes, performing rigorous bug, error, and automated testing on four in-house applications. His attention to detail and commitment to delivering a seamless user experience ensure that these applications meet high standards of functionality and usability. Aidan also collaborates with the ServiceNow Support team, troubleshooting technical issues for both customers and colleagues, which highlights his strong teamwork skills and problem-solving abilities.

Aidan’s role extends beyond technical tasks; he is also responsible for critiquing screen designs provided by co-workers, offering valuable insights that enhance the overall design quality of sites and apps. His proficiency in prototyping and graphic design, coupled with tools like Sketching and Krita, allows him to contribute creatively to the development process. Balancing his professional responsibilities with a passion for cartooning, Aidan brings a unique blend of creativity and technical acumen to Quanta Services, making him an invaluable asset in the ever-evolving landscape of web development.
