His career began with various roles at funeral service providers in Shawnee, Topeka, and Plainville, KS, where he honed his skills in management and customer service as a branch location manager.

In 2005, Adam seized the opportunity to return to his hometown of Smith Center, where he established Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary Inc. Under his leadership, the mortuary has become a cornerstone of the community, offering compassionate and personalized funeral services that honor the lives of loved ones.
