Yoran Bar's Background:Yoran Bar was born in Israel in 1984. He has a degree in computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Bar operationalized his first product, a cross-browser web application, in 2009. He then worked as a software engineer at Zoomd.com from March 2013 to March 2015. During his time at Zoomd, he was in charge of the products and services department. He left Zoomd to become a CEO and Co-founder of BeaconCureIndustry of Information Technology & Services.From his time at BeaconCure, Yoran Bar began working on a project to create an online course delivery platform. The project was finally completed in 2019. The platform is called Beaconcure.Prior to his time at BeaconCure, Yoran Bar was in charge of the user experience (UX) team at Time To Know. From 2006 to 2009, he was also the UX head at Emara Design.Yoran Bar is a member of many technical and business organizations. He is currently a member of the advisory committee of ScienceAbroad. He has also been a member of the technology Grassroots Ventures in Israel.
