Wilbur B. Gee was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 7, 1967. Gee's family moved to Brockton, Massachusetts in 1976, and he later attended high school at Townsend School. Gee did his undergraduate work at Northeastern University in 1991, where he earned a B.S. in computer science. In 1997, Gee obtained a Master's degree in computer science from Purdue University.Between 1991 and 1997, Gee worked at Digital Steamworks, where he was a Technical Director. At Digital Steamworks, Gee developed and directed game programming and created DMOBILE games for the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Sega Channel, Apple II, CD-ROM and Web browser. At Digital Steamworks, Gee also worked on various game engines, including the popular game engine Unity.In January 2003, Gee left Digital Steamworks to become a lead programmer at Microprose. He worked at Microprose for six months, before leaving to join the team at Infogrames. Gee worked at Infogrames for two years, developing various game engines and applications.Gee joined the team at Hasbro in January 1997 as a programmer. He worked at Hasbro for two years, developing various game engines and applications. During his time at Infogrames, Gee co-developed and programmed the smash hit game Battle for WesCon.In January 2017, Gee joined Balti Virtual as a Founder & CEO. Balti Virtual is a technology consulting and virtual reality services firm. Will Gee began his education at University of Maryland Baltimore County. Working as a part-time associate professor of mathematics AND professor of engineering, he developed his teaching skills and gained experience in a variety of classrooms.At Connecticut College, Will earned his B.S. in 1984 and his M.S. in 1989. After making the decision to stay in the United States, he completed his M.S. in 1995 from Gilman College, where he was a full-time professor in thedepartment of mathematics and engineering.Will Gee has been a full-time professor of mathematics and engineering at both University of Maryland Baltimore County and Gilman College for over 15 years.
