Wayne Neyman

Wayne Neyman currently serves as the Project C.O.P.E. Director for the Northern New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America, a role he has held since May 2012. In this capacity, Wayne is dedicated to advancing and facilitating innovative programs that empower youth in New Jersey to develop essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, self-esteem, and trust—all while ensuring that participants have fun. His expertise in program management and volunteer management has been instrumental in creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters personal growth and resilience among participants.

One of Wayne's key projects involves the development of comprehensive curricula tailored to meet the diverse needs of youth groups. He has successfully trained staff members to deliver engaging and impactful experiences, ensuring that each participant leaves with enhanced skills and a sense of accomplishment. Wayne is also responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the high and low ropes courses, as well as the climbing tower, which are critical components of the C.O.P.E. program. His meticulous attention to safety and equipment management guarantees that all activities are conducted in a secure environment, allowing participants to challenge themselves and build confidence.

Wayne’s leadership extends beyond program execution; he actively engages in strategic planning and fundraising efforts to sustain and grow the C.O.P.E. program. His background in systems engineering and system testing complements his ability to analyze and improve program logistics, ensuring that every aspect of the experience is optimized for participant success. Through his unwavering commitment to youth development and his passion for outdoor adventure, Wayne Neyman continues to make a significant impact on the lives of young people in New Jersey, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in their future endeavors.
