(After leaving Sanmina, I became a business consultant working with start-ups, then the sales taxChanged company name to Sanmina & Associates.)In 1996, I took a position as a Program Manager at Sanmina, Inc. in Carrollton, Texas. I formulated a program to include product line development, revenue generation, cost to include manufacturing, profitability of the program and absorb the burden of the square footage for the facilities which manufactured or housed employees supporting the program. The team consisted of sales, marketing, manufacturing. Turnaround success was recorded in the following areas: -Scaling the product line from one product to two products -Generating new customers -Reducing costs and reducing the size of the manufacturing and service footprint -Enabling the sales team to focus their efforts on key accounts - Securing new channel partners -Maintaining productivity and reducing overtime rushes
