Tom is a seasoned leader with expertise in product development, business strategy, data analytics, operations management and innovation thinking. As co-founder of Good World Solutions, Tom is leveraging the global spread of mobile connectivity to transform sustainability monitoring. Good World's flagship - Labor Link - captures insight directly from factory and farm workers in 15+ countries via a mixture of voice and web applications. Labor Link data provides leading brands, retailers and investors with actionable analytics that help them build socially responsible supply-chains. Tom prides himself on being Good World’s chief problem solver and internal influencer.
Tom is part of IFTF's and University of Houston's strategic foresight communities, and actively engaged with several initiatives dedicated to the future of productivity / work. He is also excited about advances being made in the fields of neuroscience, machine learning and augmented/virtual reality.

Led development and delivery of ‘Labor Link’ – a platform using IVR, smartphone, wearable and web technologies to capture and visualize worker insights for Fortune 500 companies. Involved in all aspects of product, including road-mapping, UX, QA, feature design and user research. Labor Link now serves 500,000+ workers across Bangladesh, China, India and 13 other countries.
Good World has been recognition by organizations such as Cisco, Ashoka, Clinton Global Initiative, Ethical Corporation, The Gratitude Network and USAID, and been featured in media outlets like Bloomberg Businessweek, Fast Company, Huffington Post, The Economic Times, The Guardian, and Forbes. From March 2011 to Present (4 years 10 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDirector, Commercialization @ Led commercialization of digital platform facilitating supply-chain cooperation between large agricultural buyers, commercial banks and farmer cooperatives in East Africa; wrote business plan, designed branding and attracted $2.5m in capital investment. Oversaw all aspects of platform delivery, including design, implementation, budgeting and PR/marketing. From February 2009 to February 2011 (2 years 1 month) Project Manager @ Provided management consulting to growing European-based agricultural export company operating in Kenya; allowed them to 3x production through streamlined communication with field staff and key farming cooperatives. Coordinated a microfinance partnership with Equity Bank that enabled outgrowers to access loans and other financial services. On assignment from Precise Consulting. From July 2008 to February 2009 (8 months) Project Manager @ Wrote and edited resource development proposals, including three successful proposals that funded $1m+ in supply-chain activities in Kenya and Tanzania.
