Handled hiring for mobile, UX, embedded software, and algorithms. - Led team in number of hires made for 2018 (24) while managing remote team of 1 to 4 sourcers. - Supported one VP, two Directors, and 15 hiring managers across the U.S. and Canada. - Managed req load of 10 to 30 openings. - Made my first hire 10 days after returning and led my team in hires made for 2018. - Awarded contract extension for a second year given strong performance. From January 2018 to December 2018 (1 year) Mountain View, CATechnical Recruiting - Engineering Leadership / Senior SWE @ Facebook Recruited for Product (Full-stack) & Systems (Infrastructure/Security) engineering roles for my first six months. Supported mobile SWE hiring for Instagram my next six months. Supported hiring for engineering leadership (Director-level individual contributors, E7+) my last few months. - Hired first candidate in January and placed 14 hires between Facebook and Instagram. - Performed regular candidate outreach, sourcing sessions, and coordinated recruiting events. - Partnered with Instagram’s recruiting and leadership team (Director of Eng/CTO/Co-Founders) for six months to increase software engineer hiring, spread brand awareness, and assist with recruiting events.- Left Facebook in January after three changes in direct management and being given the opportunity to return to Nest.
