Hi, I'm a UX/UI Designer with strong game design background. I work at the intersection of people and technologies, taking the role on projects where I can use my design-thinking research and human-centered design skills to create commercially successful products that have a positive impact on their end-users.

UX Designer @ As a "floater"​ in the team, I got to get my hands on all kinds of projects, beyond the cross-platform contents on ABCmouse.com, ABCmouse.com.cn (English as Foreign Language ), I also work on the company's enterprise management system, meta games, strategy games , etc. My daily works includs exploring creative solutions for improving user experience expecially on mobile, creating wireframes and design docs, preparing layer-based interactive prototypes for user testing, note taking and analyzing user testing, as well as reading and sharing materials related to kids'​ UX. Tools I've been using frequently are Sketch 3, Pixate, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, iMovie, Axure, Lucid Chart, draw.io. From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Web Designer @ • Consulted and solved business problems through certain technologies, improved the user experience of JPOD (Jackson Process On Demand) system. • Brainstorm, sketch and made wireframes with Adobe Creative Suite to meet business requirements through iterations in Agile environment. • Built style guide for the design of jPod system. From January 2015 to May 2015 (5 months) Research and Teaching Assistant @ • Assisting my professor to conduct experiments and research in sensor related HCI domain • Helping to prepare materials for the course “Building Experimental Experiences” From January 2015 to May 2015 (5 months) UX Researcher, Game Designer @ • Designed mechanics for a wearable device based mobile health game (BeTwine) that helps reduce users’ sedentary behavior. • Designed competition and task assignment system to better motivate users to exercise more, later examined the intervention effectiveness with a series of usability tests and user studies. • Received a fellowship from Communication Arts ad Science College to conduct an intervention study for 40 participants, analyzed all the data collected and submitted a paper to American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) annual symposium as first author. From March 2014 to December 2014 (10 months) Practice UX Designer @ • Responsible for data analysis, user experience research, product innovation & improvement. • Also assisted programmers to do product tests and debug based on user feedbacks and data information I collected. • Proposed a gamified scheme to increase user viscosity which has been partly adopted in the product's new version. From November 2012 to February 2013 (4 months) Beijing City, ChinaPractice Product Manager @ • Responsible for product prototyping, user & market research, product innovation & improvement; • The research of China’s Android system users led to significant changes in both function setting and UI design of following updates.
