💼 Past Experience

While working at Oracle, Tian Pan gained valuable experience in software engineering, system development, and authentication systems. Additionally, he also spent time in Information Security Lab under the supervision of Ms. Xiaomeng Huang and Ms. Biao Wang. In this role, he organized reference materials and implements time-out and remapping in Research of High-Speed Network Intrusion Detection Technology with C++. Tian Pan is also a senior software engineer at Uber, where he has been working for 3 years. At Uber, he is a founding member of the Identity and Access Management team and helps build a strong engineering culture and supportive workplace.

Tian Pan has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Yale University, which garnered her the distinction of being the most recent member of the Yale computer science commencement class. She also holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of International Relations.As a native of Shenzhen, China, Tianpan has been LabVIEW senior instructor at VT’s Xiangshan Institute of Technology. She is also the co-founder and CTO of a company that creates feedback-triggering software. Tianpan is also a visiting professor at Vanderbilt University, in the Department of Business Administration.Tianpan has spoken at a number of workshops on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, as well as international conferences, such as the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ICAI) and the International Conference on Intelligent Systems (ICIS).
