Tao's Experience in Goldman Sachs:Assuming the role ofVP Credit Risk Management & Advisory at Goldman Sachs from December 2014 to April 2016 in Dallas/Fort Worth Area, Tao was responsible for developing and executing credit risk management and advisory strategies for the firm's clients in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific. During his time at the company, Tao was also a member of the Credit Risk Management & Advisory Committee and the Strategy Group. He was elevated to this senior level due to his extensive experience in risk management and allied industries. In his previous roles, Tao has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies for the credit union and investment bank clients of the company. He has also authored a number of whitepapers and articles on risk management for advanced companies and boards of directors.At Goldman Sachs, Tao was unanimously confirmed as a Senior Executive for Credit Risk Management & Advisory. He succeeds former Senior Executive and Head of Credit Risk Management Poul Thomsen who left the company in October 2017. With Tao at the helm, the company's credit risk management and advisory capabilities will be greatly upgraded. As part of his role, Tao will chair the credit risk management subcommittee of the company's board of directors.
