Founder & CEO of 43Layers (500 Startups B14)
43Layers is an online marketplace that lets anyone design and make their own custom products, by connecting them to designers and makers.
We use computer aided design and manufacturing (3D printing and laser cutting) to make custom products in quantities as small as one item, or hundreds of items where each is individually customized.
Software is eating design and manufacturing. We're just trying to speed up the process by making it accessible to everyone.
