A self-described "interior designer and teenage mom", Suzanne began her undergraduate education at Gonzaga University in Spokane in 2007, majoring in Interior Design. She then received her B.A. in Political Science in 2009. After a year of coursework, Suzanne transferred to the University of Washington where she completed her M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 2011. After completing her M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Suzanne worked as an Intern Clinical Supervisor for the Partners with Families and Children program from July 2016-June 2018. As an Intern Clinical Supervisor, Suzanne provided therapy to individuals with families and children in the Spokane area from January 2015-April 2016. Suzanne also served as the President of the Washington Counseling Association from October 2010-December 2014. Suzanne has also been a volunteer tutor in the Clintonography program at Gonzaga University from May 2008-May 2013. Suzanne has also been a Board Member at the Spokane Democratic Social Services Association.
