Subraya Pai currently serves as the Aladdin Business Studio/Data Cloud Commercial Lead for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region at BlackRock, where he leverages his extensive expertise in asset management solutions to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiencies. With a robust background in both front and middle office functions, Subraya possesses a deep understanding of various asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX. His proficiency spans the entire spectrum of business processes, from model portfolio construction to cash and FX management, as well as the intricacies of derivative trading and lifecycle management.

In his role at Aladdin Studio, Subraya is instrumental in empowering the Aladdin Community by providing essential tools and resources that facilitate development across the organization. He plays a pivotal role in creating developer guides, templates, and comprehensive documentation that enable both citizen developers and seasoned engineers to maximize their use of the Aladdin platform. His leadership is particularly crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives, ensuring that BlackRock remains at the forefront of asset management technology.

Subraya's technical acumen is complemented by his solid experience in order/execution management and electronic trading, making him a key player in enhancing the performance and reliability of BlackRock's asset management solutions. His expertise in database management systems, such as Sybase ASE and Oracle 10G RAC, alongside his knowledge of IT audit and database security, positions him as a vital asset in navigating the complexities of data cloud solutions.
