From August 2003 to June 2006 (2 years 11 months) Director DB Ops @ NextCard Joined Nextcard (internet credit card company) in start-up mode and led team of architects, developers and adminstrators responsible for managing all data functions of a high traffic web property. Responsible for managing and analyizing click-stream data as well as highly confidential financial data on the company's customers and their transactions. From 1999 to 2002 (3 years) Consultant – Data Architecture and Database Administration @ Electronic Data Systems Del Monte Foods Account From October 1996 to March 1999 (2 years 6 months) Consultant – Data Architecture and Systems Development @ The Walt Disney Company Buena Vista Pictures Distribution division From April 1995 to September 1996 (1 year 6 months) President and Founder @ Greenhouse Products, Inc. Focusing on the paperless office and wireless space, I designed and contracted with a Spanish technology firm to develop a next generation ICR (intelligent character recognition) engine for use in document imaging and image/fax compression. I also co-founded the NYSE Big Data software team, which is focused on developing and commercializing the tool set (Pivotal Data Dispatch) built to run our data environment.
