After two years of study, he earned his B.F.A. in Graphic Design in 2001. Stephen has since worked as a graphic design professional, managing and publishing companies such as Inverse, VC Magazine, and more.Stephen Powell is currently the Project Coordinator for the Mixed Use Housing Initiative at Prairie View A&M University. This project is unique in that it focuses on developing prototypes of affordable, mixed use buildings.His years of design experience and education have given him the perspective and skillset necessary to be a successful businessman. he has been quoted as saying "It is not enough to have a great idea; you have to put it into a great business plan and make it a reality." In 2004, Stephen Powell founded his own firm, Powell Worldwide, which specializes in graphic design, publishing, web design, and event planning.Overall, Stephen Powell's education and experience has given him a wealth of knowledge and sockets for a successful business career.
