During my short time at Quest Software I have enjoyed a very successful 16 months. As a result of my early success I quickly moved into a field based sales role. I have achieved over £1m and 155% of my target during this time. I have been successful in selling into companies of varying sizes and industries, closing deals from as low as £5000 to £300,000. From July 2003 to November 2004 (1 year 5 months) Manager of Internal Sales @ From September 1998 to July 2003 (4 years 11 months) Assistant Branch Manager @ I started at Bennetts Insurance from college as an insurance sales executive. I was targeted to generate profit in the region of £20k per month through selling private and commercial insurance both reactive and proactively. I was successful in this role and was awarded the accolade of leading sales person annually throughout the whole group on 2 separate occasions. I was subsequently promoted to Sales Manager for the branch with the responsibility of increasing the policy count, profit margins and marketing campaigns, and after a successful 12 months was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager. This role carried responsibilities such as staff welfare, recruitment, budgets, debtors, etc. I eventually left Bennetts Insurance in order to retain my interest in sales.
