Simon Benn has worked in a number of professional positions throughout his life. He has now worked as a speaker, podcaster, and coach for over 10 years. Simon Benn has numerous design businesses under his belt, most notably TheThrivingAdopteesIndustry of Professional Training & Coaching, which he co-founded in 2008. In his previous positions, he has worked with adoptive parents to empower their children to happiness, as well as working with businesses to help them grow. In his free time, Simon Benn enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.

🎓 Education

Simon Benn has a BSc in management sciences from the University of Manchester. He then studied at Leeds Grammar School where he learned about the ideological leanings that came with the Thatcher ERA and the move towards privatization. Benn feels that this educational experience was very beneficial for him because it taught him about how capitalism works and how to analyse complex systems. After completing his education, Benn began his working career as a science writer and technical consultant. However, he has recently moved to a new position at the University of Manchester where he is a research associate. He has also co-sponsored a number of research projects and is a member of the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mandelson's Group for the Research and Development of Technology. Simon Benn is experienced in the management of technology systems. He is highly skilled in mathematical modelling, the analysis of complex systems, and in the presentation of complex systems to audiences. Benn has a strong background in scientific writing and has written extensively on technology and its affecting industries. He is also an experienced speaker and has given presentations on a variety of topics to audiences ranging from students to industry. In his previous positions, Simon Benn has been able to contribute significantly to both the Development of the University of Manchester and to the Development of Technology at the University of Manchester.
