Shannon Matlock’s career includes a variety of positions in the field of human resources. She has been in the territory of supply clerk, director of HR, and manager of human resources for companies of all sizes. In her time, Shannon has worked with companies in the Georgia area including Tranter, Supply Manager at Augusta, and Manager Human resources at Augusta.Shannon is currently the HR Manager for the company, from Nov. 1999-Apr. 2005. She was responsible for the overall management and execution of HR policies for the company. Additionally, Shannon was responsible for the development, implementation and conclusions of annual performance reviews for the company’s HR department.My most memorable experience working with human resources was a difficult one. I worked with a company who had a turnover rate of over 100% and I had to diligently manage the employees’ absenteeism and job satisfaction. Despite the challenging elements of my position, I was able to successfully make a dent in the company’s productivity.
