💼 Past Experience

Prior to joining BlueRock, Seth was a Research Scientist at Imperial Cancer Centre, a world-leading cancer research and treatment center in London, England. Seth's research focused on human melanoma cells and reporter gene expression assays to measure the efficacy of anticancer treatments. Seth directed Imperial's urethane-based cancer therapy research program, ameliorating the side effects of existing treatments and large scale clinical registrations of urethane-based cancer therapies. Additionally, Seth directed the melanoma cell line CRISPR/Cas9 for cancer vaccine research and development.Seth received his B.S. from Brown University in 2002 and his M.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006.

Seth Ettenberg's education has provided him with a background in molecular and cellular biology that has helped him to become a world-renowned scientist. Seth Ettenberg has a Ph.D. from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and has also studied at Ithaca College. This combination of education has allowed Seth Ettenberg to explore many different scientific areas, which has allowed him to develop his research techniques and thereby contribute to advancing human knowledge.

Ettenberg has more than 10 years of experience in the scientific and technical communities, having held positions at several leading academic institutions. Prior to joining BlueRock, he was the scientific advisor to Jorge Bastidas, the Chief Executive of Imperial College London and Head of Radiological Sciences at Imperial College London. He also held scientific positions at University of Cambridge, University of Washington, and CAS Molecular Biology Institutes.
