Seref Diler's education and experience:Seref Diler has a degree in engineering, from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. After completing her degree, she worked for various companies in the construction industry for several years. In 2001, she moved to Germany to work for EMB Montagebau. There, she became a project-leader and then, from 2004-10-01 to 2006-05-01, a Bauleiter. From 2001-10-01 to 2003-10-01, she was also a Leiter Produktmanagement. In 2014-01-01 to 2016-12-01, she was appointed as Head of International Design Team at Schöck Bauteile GmbH. From 2010-06-01 to 2011-06-01, she was also a Head of Special-Applications. Born in 1997 in Stuttgart, Seref Diler graduated from the Academy of Engineering and Technology in 2003 with a Diplom in Betontechnologie. In her previous education, Seref Diler completed an undergraduate degree in engineering from Universität Stuttgart in 1997 and a graduate degree in engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2003.

Seref Diler has a B.A. in Political Science from Istanbul University, where she majored in History and Middle Eastern Studies. After completing her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research associate at the Istanbul-based think tank, Selçuk University’s Relations between Kosovo and Serbia Project. Her research focus extended to studies of civic engagement in the aftermath of the Kosovo War and the crisis in the region. Diler then worked as a research assistant at the German think tank Politische Akademie Berlin for two years, before moving to Istanbul in 2007. She worked as a research associate at Turkish state-owned engineering company, TSB Group. There, she worked on a range ofprojects, including the design and construction of two hospitals and office blocks in Istanbul. In 2013, she moved to Germany and became a research associate at Oppositionsforschungsverlag, where she specialised in Turkish politics and Israeli-Palestinian relations. From here, she worked on a range of projects focused on the social and economic conditions of the Palestinian population in Germany and Israel. In 2016, she joined the multinational firm Schöck Bauteile GmbH as its Head of Product Management for Thermal Insulation. Diler has anellen degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
