About Senior Planner

As a Senior Planner at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore, I bring over 12 years of diversified experience in the land transport industry, spanning both the private and public sectors. My current role focuses on active mobility planning, where I leverage my expertise in demand management and traffic data analytics to develop sustainable transport solutions that enhance the urban mobility landscape. I am deeply involved in key projects aimed at promoting walking, cycling, and other forms of active transport, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the needs of a growing population while minimizing environmental impact.

My proficiency in advanced traffic simulation software such as VISSIM, Synchro, and AIMSUN allows me to conduct comprehensive traffic impact assessments, enabling informed decision-making for future developments. I also utilize data mining and visualization techniques through tools like RapidMiner to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, which play a crucial role in shaping effective transport policies and strategies. My experience in managing tender offers ensures that projects are executed efficiently and align with LTA’s vision for a seamless and integrated transport network.

Collaboration is key in my role, as I work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, urban planners, and community groups, to foster a holistic approach to transport planning. By integrating innovative solutions and data-driven methodologies, I strive to create a more accessible and sustainable transport system that meets the diverse needs of Singapore’s residents, ultimately contributing to a vibrant and livable city.
